Hi Jim,
Here is the one way valve I used. It just has a flap that opens when
the flow is right, so the restriction should be pretty small. It's a
Stockham swing check valve that I bought it from

Right now, I think the pumps will work better in series anyway. At
least I can't get adequate flow in parallel.
