Many thanks to everyone who replied and offered
injector tesing and cleaning methods. I did a Google search, and also came up
with a site that suggested measuring the ohm resistance between the two pins
on a known working injector, then comparing that reading with the ohm
measurement on the suspect injector. Makes sense. I just went ahead and
ordered a new injector. I don't mind spending money on "need to have working"
items like injectors, spark plugs, alternators, etc. I will sleep better
with a new injector versus a reconditioned one that has already failed once. I
realize that one that has been cleaned and flow tested might be reliable, but I
kinda like the thought of a new one. Paul Conner
