Didn't you have temperature probes on both sides of your radiators, Rusty?
Knowing the flow rate, whether by direct measurement or with table
lookup, you will have completely characterized your cooling system.  You
will have the definitive answers to all the questions of whether it will
work or not.

Hi Ernest,

I do have temp sensors going into, and out of the engine, so I can see the drop across the two cores.  I even installed a VDO compatible sensor at the rear housing location this time around, so no shortage of temp points.  I'm still not convinced that the flow rate knowledge will unlock the secrets of the universe <g>, but it's interesting enough to be worth $350 for a flow meter.  Hopefully, I can get the thing running this weekend, and maybe even get some flow numbers.

Cheers,

Rusty (flow testing my coffee pot)
