My two vents come to a common manifold high on the firewall, and than two separate 1/4” id lines come out of the cowling facing the air stream. Benefits:
Always equal tank pressure
Siphon break
Will not leak in a roll over
Redundant vent if one gets plugged up
If one tank is too fool and fuel backs up under the heat when parked, the access fuel will go to the other tank before leaks out.

Charlie you beat me to it on this one. The suggestion is to bring the two vents to a central position of high pressure and fix them both there.
