I wish to thank Charlie and others who suggested
different cooling scoops for my SQ2000. After looking at many scoops, it
was obvious that I would still have to modify anything I purchased
off-the-shelf, so I figured, since I would have to modify and fiberglass the new
one onto the cowling, why not just bite the bullet and make my own. I spent 3
hours carving foam and fiberglassing this scoop, but I think it will provide
sufficient air to the intake, as well as provide cooling air to the fuel rail
and fuel pressure regulator. Paul Conner
