One belt failure takes out water pump, alternator and backup alternator (I assume that's the designation of the unit mounted on the WP). I think if the crank driven PM alternators work out, we have two sources of power that are unlikely to be both taken out by a single failure (belt). At this juncture we can very easily justify EWP(s). Now we've got one belt driving the main Alt, and nothing much else. Sounds bullet proof to me ... Jim S.
