FWIW -on my RV my nippondenso alternator runs at about 10,000 rpm at cruise.
It has done so for over 800 hours now, no problems. I do have a blast tube
on it. Kevin
Jim, I use the Racing Beat Main pulley which is suppose to reduce my
alternator and water pump rpm by 20% over stock. Then I also have the
Racing Beat Alternator Pulley which is suppose to reduce the alternator
rpm
by 20%.
