Tracy,
Are you still using the system of the two barrels of the Mazda Throttle body
for your 13-B engine, or have you changed it to a larger area system?
Do you feel that it is still adequate?

Yes, still using the two barrels cut from the stock throttle body.   This is
just barely adequate at 6000 rpm.  Might pick up a little power ar top end
if I had more but this is generally adequate.  Since I'm using a fixed pitch
prop it does give me full power engine is capable of making at static/climb
rpm of 5200 - 5300.  At altitude (thinner air) the relatively small TB is
not holding the engine back at all.   Only place it restricts is full
throttle at SL, i.e., racing.  That's just not a big priority for me.

PS:  Marv, I was a bit confused by prior comments on trimming replies.  I
generally quote back only enough original message to keep context of what my
reply is about and the originators' name.  Do you wish posts to cut
everything except the reply text?

Tracy

[I don't have a problem with your posts, just keep them coming.  If you ir anyone else slips and quotes back the entirety of an earlier post I just clip as necessary.  Life's too short to get all worked up about this stuff <g>.
