Oh, yeah,
That reminds me of a third problem I have at the moment.
My poor old Clausing lathe was made before anyone in the
US had thought of cutting metric threads.
Japanese filter threads are 20 x 1.5mm.
Ford => 3/4" x 16
GM => 13/16 x 16
I'm planning on using the Ford thread (simplifies
logistics). If you want to use factory filters, then
we need to be able to cut 20 x 1.5mm threads on one
end of a piece of 13/16" alum. hex rod. Does your
lathe do threads.
