Subject: [FlyRotary] oil return banjo fitting?

Greetings,

While I'm replumbing everything, I'd like to so something about the oil return to the rear housing.  I'm using a modified metric to AN-10 90 degree fitting, but it's a little dicey fitting around the engine mount.  I'd like to go back to the stock banjo type fitting if possible.  Ideally, I'd like to have a banjo, to AN adapter, but I haven't found one nearly the size I need.  Since the oil cooler has AN-12 fittings, banjo to AN-12 would be ideal.  I could also deal with Banjo to AN-10, or a banjo fitting that's made to install on a braided hose.  The banjo in question is 18mmX1.5.

Can anyone point me to something that will work?  Hey Paul, didn't you end up using a banjo fitting for your oil return?

Thanks,
Rusty

Hi, Rusty....I originally used a banjo fitting, but later on when I moved my oil cooler,  I went to the local Parker/Gates hydraulic hose shop and purchased a metric to male AN fitting that screwed right in there, and I attached a female AN swivel fitting to that. I will take a picture of it for you. Paul Conner
