Rusty, I have eliminated
all my banjo fittings. You can get the adapters from Summit
Racing.

Getting a metric to AN adapter is
relatively easy, but it won't fit. The engine mount portion of
the CCI mount plate gets in the way of the oil return fitting, so you can
only use something very low profile, like a banjo fitting. Another
thought would be to build the oil return into the oil filter adapter block,
like I believe is done on the FD. My current fitting has
surprised me by not leaking, but I don't want to push my
luck.
