Wait a minute. On the bottom of the regulator page there
is a link called suggested parts where several fuel guages and the AN-6
flare to AN-6 'O' ring adaptor is called out. But the description for the
EAR-985006ERL is a -6 AN to 9/16 in. x 18 port thread.

Thanks for the concern, but I got the
number from Earl's catalog (see attached). Apparently, AN-6 thread
is 9/16" x 18.
