Still having problems, or just being cautious? I hate to think I'll be flying before you." 1. Yeah, lots of bugs including my inexperience and malfunctioning injector(s). Mostly getting the mixtures set correctly. Fouled about 4 sets of plugs to get to this point. Still the engine will not run right at less than 2000 engine rpm or 15" of MAP. I know that is not a critical area (vs. 20-27"), but I want it to be right. I think my induction system is too open (55mm butterfly valve to 3" pipe to short induction tubes) to idle well. 2. We have begun taxi tests, and it gets real light at about 40k, accelerates well, but I'm not satisfied with WOT yet either. Tracy is helping me along with each new challenge, and I'd appreciate any set up tips from all the group. 3. Yeah, I am being really cautious. 4. I'd hate for you to be flying before me, but I want both of us to be safe.. Lots of smiles and best regards. Tommy ps. The RV8 you built was superb, and I hope the -3 will be as great!! Only problem is you can't ride me in this one...:-) >> Homepage: http://www.flyrotary.com/
