Greetings,

After some = email exchanges,=20 and general soul searching, I called Bruce today to see what my options=20 were.

One is the = Renesis, at=20 about $5700 complete from him.  He's got a few of these in stock = BTW. =20 At this point, I just can't imagine starting over with an engine = installation,=20 and that's just about what it would be.  Can't think of much that = wouldn't=20 have to be modified, so this just ain't gonna=20 happen.

Second = option is the=20 easiest of all, and quite a bit cheaper, so that's the way I'm = going. =20 I'll have Bruce supply two new (ceramic coated) 9.7 rotors, and I'll = keep my=20 good front rotor for the single rotor project.  I may let = him get=20 it coated at the same time, haven't decided.  Bruce will also = supply a new=20 center, and rear housing, and will port them to match the front housing = I=20 already have (which he originally ported).  I might even send = him the=20 stationary gears as well, to make sure he agrees that the bearings are=20 OK.   I've already got the master rebuild kit = on the=20 way, so all I should have to do is re-assemble the parts, and be = right back=20 where I started.  I'm guessing it would be 3-4 weeks before I = get=20 everything in hand.

I'm going to = have him leave=20 the oil filter boss intact this time, since I seem to have room for = it. =20 Who had that 45 degree, angled down filter adapter block? =20 Paul??  Sure would solve my filter problems if I can make = something=20 like that work.   Can you post the pic = again?

Anyway, that's = the=20 plan.  I'll sent Bruce an email tonight with the shopping=20 list.

Cheers,
Rusty (Wombats=20 rule)
