It's lighter. I assume you too are flying close to forward CG limit which got to hurt in cruise.

You and John seem to think alike, which should disturb you :-)   

 

I thought about the Renesis option, and I might talk to Bruce about it.  That would mean changing the whole intake and exhaust, and I don't know that there's a real significant benefit to the engine aside from future availability of parts.
