Depending on how mashed together they are, you may = need something that is thin (like a dull blade from a scalpel or wood = carving tool) but not too sharp as those fins will seem to have melted = together. Get a separation started with the blade and then slip in the = nose of the pliers. =20 You may be able to get that tool at some of the larger auto stores. The other tool which is great when you just need some minor fin = alignment {:>) looks like a four sided plastic comb on a handle. The = different teeth spacing meant for different fin spacing so make certain = you use the correct one. But, I don't find this one that useful when a = bunch of fins are bashed together as you can not get the teeth between = the fins. Those tools and lots of patience are needed. Just a thought, you might contact some local radiator shop and see if = they have a kid that they might employ just to straighten fins and have = him do it.
