Can you let me have the dimension from prop flange to engine > block of your redrive? Yes, that would be 14.625". > b.. On an Rv what is the normal prop extension length if any? The earlier "fixed pitch" cowls (which I have) were designed for 4" extensions. All cowls are now made for the compact hub CS prop or 2.5" extension with fixed pitch. > c.. I mean to completely remove the scew gear & distributor or crank > angle sensor I assume crank mounted sensor? Very clean solution and will give more accurate ignition timing but added cost. Creeping increases in cost has killed many a project. > d.. The weight saving is a bit of a guess > You may remenber I am looking for a direct drive for my Quickie Q2. > Clive Ahh!
