If my latest batch of supplies (rods, flux, and video training tapes) don't help me weld steel and aluminum with my Henrob, I'll be buying a TIG. I'll have the required 5 bananas standing by for instructions too :-) Rusty, Any time you want to come up to the museum for a quick basic TIG lesson, just bring the bananas!;-) I can give you the basics in jut a couple of hours.... then after a few dozen hours of practice, you'll have it. Welding is like flying in that you may recieve some helpful instruction, but in the end, you just have to teach yourself how to do it. If you get the chance to hit one of the TIG seminars at Sun 'n Fun or Oshkosh, it is WELL worth the time spent. I had managed to pretty much figure out how to use the machine, but the seminar explained how it actually worked, and provided a lot of VERY useful tips. Mike C.
