I was just concerned about the neighbors and noise abatement, but several others have told me that it is not loud and is a somewhat pleasing sound. My brother told me that on the takeoff roll he could not hear the airplane until I was midfield and closer to him. Hmmmm.....maybe if it ain't broke, I shouldn't try to fix it, and of course there's nothing wrong with simple.
