By the way, I calibrated a mechanical gauge today, got 20PSI on
cranking, so I ran the engine. It went off the scale past 100 for the first few
minutes, then gradually came down to 85. I did dome runups and taxiing. By the
time the engine was really hot the (accurate) oil pressure was 65 at about 3000
rpm. I'm feeling a little better about this.
