Ron has his (and others) various EZs in the hangar behind mine at the Denton Texas airport (KDTO)…..I’ll stop by the next time I see him there and tell him about his celebrity status! BTW, he is selling one of them. He hasn’t done much work on the rotary EZ lately. He got bummed out when a piston engine broke a crank while he was ground testing it out front of his hangar so maybe he will get going again on the rotary.

That's great news.  What state does Ron Gowan live in?  (Hopefully close to Alabama)  Paul Conner, 13b powered SQ2000 needing DAR inspection in Mobile, AL

Congratulations to our own Ron Gowan (one of the first Rotary powered pioneers..Long EZ)

on completing the Amateur-Built Designated Airworthiness Representative (AB-DAR) training

at the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City. Ron gave me my first flight in a rotary powered A/C

in the mid 1990s .
