Do you have info on what the manifold and throttle body weigh? I'll be interested in seeing what it looks like when installed on an engine. If it wraps nice and close could be a real problem solver. Mike Wills ---------------------- Mike, I've got a decent digital 10 lb scale, and I'll weigh the parts when mine arrive. That's right buddy-boy, I'm taking another shortcut, while your lead dwindles away :-) I did a test fit of the wings, and did all the fiddly crap that goes along with that (fairings, tank brackets, rear spar attach, wing tips, ailerons, flaps, etc). I'm currently finishing up the &@*#%& canopy, and will then move on to the misc fuselage items. After that, it's engine and instruments. Did I mention that I'm having a motor mount made by Conversion Concepts as I type :-) Of course the down side to this is that I have to make my own cowling!! AAAaaaaaagggghhh!!! If you check the archives, you'll note that I asked for someone to shoot me if I considered that, and at least we know that Marvin has the means :-) BTW- Kathy told me that they've been making those manifolds for about 6 years, so not exactly new. Perhaps they need to work on advertising some more :-) Cheers, Rusty (Dillon 650 owner)
