Go to www.irfanview.com and pick up that program. It will allow you to resize (best size for emails is 640x480) and resave with more compression. I can generally shrink a 1mb photo down to 30-40k... big difference. "paul" : Hi, fellow rotary enthusiasts...I just tried to send a couple of pictures of my SQ2000 cowling and it's replacement cowling (from a Velocity), but it was kicked back because the file size was too large (1012k, with a max allowable of 300K). The problem is....I purchased a new digital camera that is a 4 megapixel unit. I assume that the better quality of picture means larger files. When I right-click on one of the pictures that I have stored on my computer, and click on properties, it says the file size is 712kb. Does anyone know any method of making the file size smaller so that I can e-mail these pictures? Thanks in advance for any and all assistance.
