The relay that is utilized by the EC2 to disable the secondary injectors at MAP below the stage point.

Do you have a relay external to the EC-2?

Yes; It may be that mine is just an earlier version.

With your firewall plugs, can you swap primary and secondary injector wires.  If you can come up with a way to do that, it might help determine if you have a leaking/sticking injector, vs some sort of electronic gremlin.

As you may have noticed from my other post, I can go half way and connect the primary injectors to the secondary plug.  No joy.  The rough running could still be a “leaking” injector since it gets too rich and rough, but these injectors only have a few hours on them since cleaning and testing by RC Engineering, and their flows matched almost exactly.  I haven’t heard of leaking as a likely failure mode.

Only The 20B version of the EC2 uses the staging relay.  I think Al is correct.  There is something causing it not to be staged when it should be.  That problem must be found and corrected before anything else can be guessed at.  I hope it's not an error in the instructions.  I'll review the 20B design and get some questions & tests to you Al.
