Kelly,

How much does your total gear setup weigh (engine
forward).  My bellhousing and PSRU together weigh in
at a whopping 65lbs.  I'm trying to decide if that
is reasonalbe or ridiculous.

Marc,

First let me clarify that I am not using my 13B Cosmo engine at this

time. I am using an 1988, 6 port 13B. My 2nd generation auto trans

bell housing is 7.190 inches deep + .510 inch mount plate (between

eng. & bell housing) + .400 inch RD1C adapter plate = 8.100 inches.

   Tracy's plate is 3.550 inches from engine. 8.100" - 3.550"= 4.55".

My input shaft should be 4.55 inches longer than  Tracy's standard

RD1C shaft. Also the drive splines of my shaft will be .500 inch

farther out from the excentric shaft because for proper starter gear

meshing the flex-plate has a .500 inch spacer between it and the

counterweight to compensate for the .510 inch mount plate.

Kelly,

What is the depth of the FC bellhousing and what thickness adaptor plate on the front of it did you use? Also what did your dimensions for the shaft come out to? Here is a mock up of mine. Computer disk failure lost all my other newer pics.

Marc,

Have you talked to Tracy about your extended input shaft yet? I

have already sent him the dimensions for my extended shaft. I am

using a 2nd generation (86-91) auto transmission bell housing for

my engine. Your input shaft will be shorter than mine I have a 13B

Cosmo and know what you are up against. I have talked to Bulent

about his Cosmo conversion but do not know all the details.

Attached is jpeg of my eng.

Best Regards
