Didn't seem to make any difference. It still bothers me that you see a change in the engine when turning off = the secondaries below the staging point. Since the staging default is 15", setting it at 15.5" is still very close to the same thing. Try setting = the staging point up to 18" or so, just to make sure it's so far away from = the MAP you're running in your tests that it can't possibly intermittently stage. I keep mine up there all the time, and I think Tracy might be = doing that as well. With mismatched injectors, you'll find that the higher = you set the staging point, the better the transition will be, since the = engine is more tolerant of mixture changes at higher power settings. =20 =20 I'm not surprised that the secondaries (MSD 525) are running smoother = than the primaries (Mazda 550) at low power. One of the problems with larger injectors is that you can't cut the pulse width down enough to limit the fuel for idle settings.
