But, based on Rusty's remark, if there is a broad agreement amongst all that planned to attend to postpone rather than relocate, how do Laura and you feel about that idea?

ROTARY ROUNDUP UPDATE  - IMPORTANT

OCTOBER 29, 30, 31 2004

Due to the hurricane Frances and Jeanne, our airpark is flooding and is expected to still be flooded on the weekend of the Rotary Roundup, so we have MOVED THE ROTARY ROUNDUP EVENT to LAKE CITY, FL.  The new location is not at an airpark, but is about a 5 minutes drive from the Lake City Airport (LCQ), which is a wonderful facility. Those of you who plan to fly private planes in for the event can still do so. We will provide transportation to and from the airport. Tracy’s plane will also be al Lake City for “Show and Tell” (and maybe rides).

If you plan to drive or fly commercial in to JAX, GNV or TPA, you can also keep those plans.  In fact, several of you already had motel reservations in Lake City, so this will actually be easier for you.  Lake City has MANY hotels within 10 minutes of the event location.

If you plan to drive, the new location is very easy to find and is located about 15 minutes from both I-10 and I-75.

Here is the URL to the UPDATED INVITATION with all the details including driving and flying directions, phone number, etc:

Here is the URL for a LIST OF MOTELS in Lake City:

http://rotaryaviation.com/Accomodations.htm

If you already made arrangements with Laura to use an air mattress, couch, reserved a spare room, etc, those plans are STILL in effect.  However, we CANNOT PROVIDE CAMPING so you’ll need to make motel reservations (or join the “floor crew) if you planned to camp.  We also CANNOT ACCOMMODATE RECREATIONAL VEHICLES.

The Saturday afternoon forums will be held and we’ll provide all the food for the weekend as planned.  Unfortunately, there will not be any engines to fondle, but the friendship and information sharing will be as good as always!
