What does Tracy recommend as far as the re-drive
goes. Seems there is a good middle ground here someplace.

I wondered that too, but I figure 30W oil is already heavier than
automatic trans fluid, which is what the redrive gears normally get. I've
mentioned the oil enough times that I figured Tracy would step in if
he had any serious objections. Too late now, I'm grandfathered in
:-)
