Subject: [FlyRotary] foam-sicle (new ducts)

Greetings,

Attached is a pic of the foam molds for my latest air inlet ducts.  Just to let you know, I'm only sending this because it lets me delay applying fiberglass for a few more minutes.

Rusty (time's up)

How do you get the fiberglass to release?  I usually ‘hard-coat’ with micro-glass slurry, then brush on mold release.  Or on small pieces carefully lay over a thickness of duct tape.

Al

I pour gasoline onto the part and watch the foam just dissappear.   (Unless you screw up and use fuel-proof foam).  I first learned that when I tried to carry a cup of gasoline in a white styrofoam cup.  (Didn't get very far).  Paul, too lazy to remove foam the hard way, Conner
