I’m glad that you found the problem.  Even bad news is better than still looking for the problem, and it sounds like you actually have a pretty minor issue to repair.

On the subject of screw-ups, I better come clean after all my comments about bad data from my EM2.  I fried it. Tracy's instructions are very insistent about grounding all unused inputs - right. I wasn't using Air Temp 2, so I grounded ALL the wires for it. Apparently the red one is 5v+, not an "input". Who knew? My EM2 is winging it's way back to Tracy for a replacement coil or whatever it was that smoked on the board.
