Hi, Rusty....My 13b has an aluminum plate covering the old injection pump location. Do I just drill and tap for an NPT fitting in the plate covering the old pump?

Ooops, I just remembered that I'm actually returning to the turbo oil drain location on the front cover, and not the injector pump location.  When I took the turbo off, I just made an aluminum cover plate with a hole tapped for 1/4" NPT.

You don't by chance have an old picture lying around that shows your plate and/or fitting going into the engine do you?

Amazingly, I don't have a picture that shows it.

My return line presently goes to the oil pan, but to drain the oil, I have to first remove the PSRU drain line. It would be better to run it to the oil oil injection location.  Thanks for the info.  Paul Conner

I ran my oil drain to the oil pan plug location on the original engine.  This violates the rule of returning oil below the level of oil in the pan, but it worked fine.  Having to remove the PSRU drain line to drain the oil was the best part of that system.  I left the line free, so I could remove it at the redrive, then lower it toward my catch pan to drain the oil.  It was totally mess-free.  I miss that now, especially when I have to drain a little oil to make up for the pre-mix scavenging.
