As I understand it, old EC-2's might not have the hardware link between the = two controllers to allow this to work, but most of us should be OK. In the past, I haven't had good luck with the copy function, but I always had separate MAP lines at the time, which I now believe to have been most of = the problem. More recently, copy A to B seemed to work very well, except = that it didn't seem to copy the injector flow rates. Tracy said he thought = it did transfer those, but he would have to check to be sure. Also keep in mind that the B controller doesn't have a temp sensor, so that might = change the programming needs a bit as well.=20 =20 Not long ago, I was wishing for a copy B to A option also, or better = yet, a way to backup and restore the data to an external source (laptop, USB = memory stick, etc).=20 =20 To actually copy A to B, open your EC-2 manual to the end of the Program Mode 2 section. He "hides" this valuable info under the heading of = "Copying all programmed parameters from A to B" :-) =20 =20 Basically: - EC-2 off - select controller A - select mode 2 - press and hold the program store switch - while holding down the program store switch, turn on the power switch = to the EC-2 - keep holding the program store switch for about 2 seconds, then = release it - A is not copied to B.
