How did that radiator fit? I see a few choices on them on and off, and
some brands are said to fit poorly and need lots of mods. Was it a slip
in? Here in TX I might need 2 of them (wife's car too)...btw, do you
have a water temp gauge, and if so, how much did the new radiator lower
it? I have a temp gauge with the sensor installed facing out the front
of the water pump neck at the flat spot.
PS. I got a couple FD oil coolers off ebay, cleaned them up,
straightened the fins, did a repaint, had them flushed, and installed
mesh screen in front of them at the opening to help keep that damage to
a minimum!! I used a tranny cooler in the right side and now have 2 just
like the r1/r2 models. And I want to let people know there is an outfit
that makes a 2 oil cooler mod for single cooler FDs that you can get if
you are really interested (Crooked Willow Racing).
