Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: EM-2 Liquid temp 2 and 3 connection

Sorry for not remembering about this this earlier, but attached is a jpg that shows how you have to hook up the liquid temp 2 and 3 inputs.  I checked mine today, and they work just dandy.

This is one of those good news, bad news situations where Tracy chose flexibility, over easy of installation for the masses.  As I understand it, the 5V pull-up circuit is included in the EM-2 for the normal temps, but these aux channels can be used for other things.  Some of those other uses wouldn't work with a "normal" temp input circuit, so he made these inputs in a more generic way, so you could add the 5V pull-up externally, or not, depending on your needs.

Now, since this is obviously valuable info, I expect at least one inch of MAP from each of you :-)

Cheers,

Rusty (don't say I never gave you anything)

Great. Now that the plug is all wired, and the harness neatly tied in I learn I need a 5V lead from the AQM plug pin?  It’s a well kept secret; not a clue in the manual.  DOWN WITH SOLDER SOCKET PLUGS!

Good info, but my MAP account is as empty as yours.
