Several people have just taken a 12 inch piece of u channel and drilled
holes to line up with the studs on the front housing and holes to line up
with the stand adapter.  Mazdatrix used to tell you how to make an adapter
for free.  They now sell the complete adapter head for $90.00.  Pineapple
sells the drilled plate to bolt to a harbor freight 1000 lb engine stand
head.  In looking to see if it would be better to drill or buy; and,
prefering to hold by middle housing, I just stuck two of the four bolts
harbor freight included with the stand through the slots which I rotated to
fit the center housing bolt holes and bolted it up. That has worked just
fine for the last couple of engines; so, I don't know if I will ever get
around to doing it otherwise
