I finished all the machining on my injector conversion. The plan is to install MSD injectors in the stock primary location. I ended up making steel sleeves to fit in the injector holes in the block. They're .65" OD, and .55" ID. I took a T-II injector rail, and bored it out to .54" ID to fit the new injectors. I also drilled and tapped the ends of the rail for 1/4 NPT fittings, and installed them with some JB weld to keep Tracy's stock prices up :-) The sleeves are already installed in the block, and I'll test out the new rail tomorrow. Man will it be nice to have matching injectors again. Since they're 525 cc injectors, I lowered the fuel pressure from 42 to 36 to compensate. I'm off Monday also, so I plan to have this thing at least tuned, and ready to fly by then.
