Now im considering extending the inlet = runners completely over the engine and mount a tubular plenum approx 4" = dia 10" long. my manifold is very similar to one that I saw on this = site, I think it was mounted on an RV4 running duel throttle bodies. = Mine is a turbo so needs to be slightly different. Wish I could post a = pic but my picture album program wont compress them enough to post! ( = maybe operator error) . I have a few shots of the oil injection pump = that ill be running that I tried to post as well, its a modified = electric version, with remote oil adaptor that I got from Tracy. The pump = is fully adjustable for what ever oil flow you want.( no linkages and = very simple). Just got my confirmation from vans, QB 7 is on its way. now only if Fred = can supply the mount,( been on order for ages). Cant wait to hang the = engine. =20 cheers Mick. =20 ------=_NextPart_000_0024_01C47C6E.30E88C90 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
Hi All
Thanks  = for the info=20 on the water pump gallery. I was going through some old files and = guess=20 what I found. Should have looked there first! I have a new question for = the=20 group. The size and shape of the plenum chamber. After looking at = the=20 Mistral site (VERY NICE) I now have reservations about the size and = shape=20 of plenum I was going to use. Originally I was going to manufacture one, = box=20 shape and only 2 1/2" wide 3 1/2" high 8" long. Really didn't think it = would be=20 big enough but made for a neat installation. Now im considering = extending the=20 inlet runners completely over the engine and mount a tubular plenum = approx 4"=20 dia 10" long. my manifold is very similar to one that I saw on this = site, I=20 think it was mounted on an RV4 running duel throttle bodies. Mine is a = turbo so=20 needs to be slightly different. Wish I could post a pic but my = picture=20 album program wont compress them enough to post! ( maybe operator error) = . I=20 have a few shots of the oil injection pump that ill be running that = I tried=20 to post as well, its a modified electric version, with remote = oil adaptor=20 that I got from Tracy. The pump is fully adjustable for what ever = oil flow=20 you want.( no linkages and very simple).
Just got my confirmation from vans, QB = 7 is on its=20 way. now only if Fred can supply the mount,( been on order for = ages). Cant=20 wait to hang the engine.
