The pumps I got from Tracy had 10-1 metric threads, both ends.

I may be wrong here, but I believe the threads are metric... 10mm if I'm correct. It is very close to the 5/16-24, but not a perfect = fit. They sell a 10mm x 1.0 to AN adapter. See: http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pdfs/069.pdf

The NAPA pumps that I purchased from Tracy were marked = Carter 2H26A380 and
the screw in barb adapter was a 5/16-24 thread. I was unable to = find any
source of 5/16 to AN6 adapters. I obtained the Earl's 991953 = fittings which
came with soft aluminum seal washers. Using a 23/64 drill and both standard
and bottoming 10mm-1.0 taps, I was able to cut several almost = complete
threads to match the Earl's fittings. After removing any trace of cuttings
and carefully smoothing the pump face, I installed the fittings using = the
aluminum washers and fuel lube on the threads. They torqued up well but = I
haven't had a chance to leak check them yet.
