I was unable to find any source of 5/16 to AN6 adapters. I obtained the Earl's 991953 fittings which came with soft aluminum seal washers. Using a 23/64 drill and both standard and bottoming 10mm-1.0 taps, I was able to cut several almost complete threads to match the Earl's fittings. After removing any trace of cuttings and carefully smoothing the pump face, I installed the fittings using the aluminum washers and fuel lube on the threads. They torqued up well but I haven't had a chance to leak check them yet.
